Participating in Leaders of Impact is deeply personal to both of us. As sisters who each experienced sudden cardiac arrest in our 30s, we know firsthand how quickly life can change—and how important research, lifesaving education, access to care, and a strong community can be.
Our experiences inspired us to create Flatlined and Fine, where we share our stories and have conversations about life after cardiac arrest, heart health, and the things we wish we'd known before our lives changed forever. Through Leaders of Impact, we have an opportunity to take that mission beyond our own story and help create meaningful change across New Hampshire.
We are proud to support the American Heart Association and its work to fund innovative research, expand CPR and lifesaving education, and build healthier communities. We believe that together, we can help give more people the knowledge, resources, and opportunity to survive a cardiac emergency and live long, healthy lives.
We survived. Now we want to help make sure more people do.
