I fundraise for the American Heart Association because like so many others, people in my life have been touched by cardiac disesase. As an employee of the AHA I carry these people with me in the work that I do, knowing that every donation brings us closer to a healthier world, for all.
Heart Walk is my FAVORITE day of the year. It is a celebration for surviviors, staff, volunteers, health care professionals and the families of Boston. I work hard all year to make Heart Walk a fun and meaningful day, and I hope you will join me.

- The Kids Heart Challenge programs in schools across Massachusetts.
- Systems of care within hospitals like Get With The Guidelines and Target BP.
- $35.5 million dollars in research through 100 annual studies
- Changing policy to improve lives like the Flavored Tobacco Ban and Tobacco21.
- CPR initiatvies like CPR training kioksks, CPR education and AED access.
- STEM Goes Red, a program that brings together middle school girls from Boston to inspire and empower tomorrow’s female leaders, today.
