Living with a heart arrhythmia can be a daunting and life-altering experience. As someone who has struggled with this condition, I understand the physical and emotional toll it can take on a person. I was eventually diagnosed with ventricular tachycardia and underwent a cardiac catheter ablation that successfully addressed my arrythmia, bringing me much needed relief for both my quality of life and overall heart health. With a family history of heart disease - my dad had a heart attack and underwent quintuple bypass surgery, my mom had congestive heart failure, and my heart arrhythmia - I tremendously appreciate the tireless work of the AHA.
