We are walking for all those affected by heart disease including our 3 year old daughter, Lilly. Lilly was born with a congenital heart defect and had her heart repaired at 9 months old. Although her heart was repaired, she will get a pacemaker to help her heart rhythm. Heart disease is something that will always affect our daughter.
The American Heart Association uses funds to raise awareness, fund research, and help communities. Lilly was able to be present when the Louisa Library, in partnership with the American Heart Association, rolled out free blood pressure cuffs and CPR mannequins for community members to learn CPR and be in tune with their own health.
Have a heart and help me reach my goal today or join our team to walk with us!
