Welcome to our 2024 ‘And the Beat Goes On’ Team Page! Many of you know our story and how we came to support and be involved with the AHA Heart Walk. Seven years ago, our families’ lives were changed completely when my husband went into heart failure due to several heart attacks. If it wasn't for the health care group that we were seeing at the time and one person’s thinking something is not right our story may not have turned out as it did! We ended up receiving the immediate help that was needed and found a great team of doctors that have helped us along the way and navigate this life changing event! Many of you know someone, whether it be family, friend or acquaintance, that has heart disease! Join our team and walk with us to support this even and now imagine how much stronger we'll be working as a team! Heart disease is still the no. 1 killer and stroke ranks no. 5 in our nation!
We are walking together - not only for our own health, but for yours as well! The Heart Walk is a time of inspiration, celebration and such a fun event that brings together so many people wo are connected in so many ways and our goals are all similar - to create a world free of heart disease and stroke by being able to help fund life-saving research and assistance!
This is a big year for the American Heart Association as they celebrate their Centennial! They will continue into the future and are focused on their goals and work ahead while celebrating their lifesaving history with those who helped make it possible like you!
