I experienced the heartbreaking loss of my mom to a stroke caused by heart disease at the age of 17.
More recently, I've had the devastating loss of my cousin, my aunt (my mom's sister), and one of my dearest friends of thirty years, who were all victims to massive heart attacks.
Just last year, a client who I sold a home two years prior, unfortunately succumbed to a massive heart attack. Joe was only 40 years old at the time of his untimely death. His widow will be joining us on the mall this year, as we walk to honor the memory of our loved ones, and take a stand against this debilitating disease.
