Personally I lost my two younger brothers due to heart attacks, neither of them had reached the age of 45. My mom's condition started with a heart attack and she eventually passed due to renal failure. I have known friends and co-workers over the years that have suffered strokes and heart attacks. I walk to raise awareness about heart disease. But I also walk to show my nieces, nephews, friends and family that there is something WE can do to improve our health. Walking is EXERCISE. It is good for you and to you.
