I have the honor to serve as the Team Captain again this year for this annual event for the Fairfax County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
Our goals:
1. Raise funds that are tax-deductible. Please donate and/or share with others if possible. Our goal is to raise at least $2,200 by 11/2/24.
2. Get our friends, family members and colleagues moving (literally). A little more daily starting today through 11/2/24. Fall is such a lovely time to get out and to move.
Our goal here is at least 22 members registered on our team. All are welcome!
3. Raise awareness about heart disease, it's impact on us, and share information about how we can prevent it and live healthier lives.
Last year we had great support and exceeded the goal for our team raising $1,868.08.
