Heart disease is still the no. 1 killer and stroke ranks no. 5 in our nation. Given these stats, it is more important than ever for us to take care of ourselves and make sure that we stay heart healthy.
As some of you may know, we lost our mom to cardiac arrest in 2023. Although this was the worst day of our life, we truly believe that she will always be with us and is watching over us from above. Heart health and awareness is such an important issue to us and we want to share her story and continue to honor her in the best way that we can. Our mom was the most charitable, giving, and kindhearted person we knew and that is why we will be walking this year. We are walking not only for her and for our health, but for your health and for the health of everyone around us.
The Heart Walk is a time of celebration, joy, and inspiration. It's also an event where people work together to support one single goal - to create a world free of heart disease and stroke.
Be a relentless force. Be a supporter of critical research. Be a lifesaver. Be a part of Diane's unstoppable team. I hope you will join us this year and walk/donate to save lives. I know she will be walking with us too.
