It seems that everyone has a story regarding a family member or a friend that has been affected by heart disease, heart attack or stroke. Friends that have undergone open heart surgery are here today to tell their stories.
The American Heart Association is a vital resource helping us with CPR training and access to information that saves the lives of our family and friends. Each year we walk to bring awareness and raise dollars to help fund research. We all need to be prepared to act quickly when an emergency arises. The American Heart Association affords us this opportunity.
