This year I’m joining my friends at SEFCU for the 2022 Capital Region Heart Walk.
Linda Trela is my WHY.
Mom spent the last 13 years of her life with a pacemaker, eventually becoming fully dependent on this teeny tiny device. She endured one massive open heart surgery in 2016 and made some positive health changes in the meantime. Though she succumbed in 2021 to heart disease as a result of other complications, I know we were given more time with her thanks to the immense research and advocacy coming out of places like the AHA.
I am missing her oh so much and put this ask out in her memory. If anyone is so inclined to donate or join Team Trela, please know it is appreciated tremendously.
