I walk because I know that with every step, I’m making a difference in someone’s life. And I know how important and vital research is to help combat heart disease. Thanks to advances in cardiac surgery and congenital heart disease care, I am able to thrive, not just survive with heart disease. Granted I'm a little slower than I used to be, but I plan on participating in this worthwhile event.
