Why I Give
My profile picture is of my family's latest annual apple picking trip. We're all smiling in this picture, but our hearts were heavy. It was our first family tradition without my mother, who we lost to a suspected stroke on August 26, 2019. While this is a heart walk, we know of the work the AHA does with stroke prevention, education and research, so we have an even more personal reason to support the organization this year.
We're all incredibly stretched for time and each of us has limits for how we spend the little extra time we do have, but I hope you will join us or help us with your support.
