I walk because six years ago I had a "widow maker" heart attack. I was told I should not have survived. Shortly after, I had a stroke. Then I had bilateral pneumothoraces and was put on a ventilator.
The past six years have been a gift, a miracle. I know that with every step, I’m making a difference in my life and in someone else's.
