On September 20th, 2024, 5 days before his 27th birthday, my sweet brother Nicholas passed peacefully in his sleep. He was a beloved father, son, brother, nephew, cousin, friend, and was loved by so many. He ultimately became a service manager for Fox Pest Control, the job in which he created a passion for and took his role as a leader with such gracious empathy. 6 months later, it was discovered that Nicholas fell victim to Cardiomegaly. Today I am raising awareness for heart disease so others can be saved while honoring my brother's legacy.

9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside the hospital die. In most of those cases, bystander CPR was not performed. But we can change this. ​

 

Cardiac arrests happen at work, in homes, on athletic fields and in neighborhoods everywhere, and the readiness of our community can be the difference between life and death. ​
