Our Why: Joining Hearts to Save Lives

At Harrity 4 Charity, we are deeply committed to supporting the American Heart Association (AHA), an organization whose mission is nothing short of lifesaving. AHA tirelessly fights heart disease and stroke, the top two causes of death globally. This cause is profoundly personal for us. On May 2, 2016, our managing partner, John Harrity, faced a widow-maker heart attack—a battle he was statistically unlikely to win. Yet, thanks to his disciplined lifestyle and the exceptional care he received, John not only survived but emerged with a renewed purpose: to ensure that his heart attack was not in vain.

From that harrowing experience, Harrity 4 Charity was born. Our partnership with AHA is our way of turning personal adversity into a collective action—a movement that supports groundbreaking research, promotes heart health education, and gives hope to countless families.
