On Valentine's Day 2020, my aunt had a single bypass surgery. As she was recovering from surgery, she suffered a stroke. After multiple weeks in inpatient rehabilitation and some recovery at home she was later diagnosed with endometrial cancer. Between the heart disease, stroke and the cancer we lost her on February 11, 2021.

On February 22, 2023, while watching TV, my mother made a funny sound and when I looked at her to ask her what was wrong, she had this blank stare on her face and wasn't responding to me. EMS suspected that she had suffered a Transient Ischemic Attack or a TIA. They suggested that she goes to the hospital for further monitoring. She suffered multiple strokes and a massive heart attack while in the hospital. We lost her on March 3, 2023.
