We walk because heart disease has impacted the maternal side of my family for as long as I can remember. We've lost grandfathers, fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers, and cousins ? the list goes on.

In February 2023, we lost our Mommy suddenly, with no idea that she was suffering from heart disease. To us, she seemed perfectly healthy. She ate well, worked out regularly, was a health advocate, and always looked after everyone else?s well-being. 

After learning more about heart health, we realized some symptoms were there, but we didn?t recognize them at the time. Now that we know, it?s part of our journey to make sure others do too.
