My sweet Boy Loki was the motivation for me to get moving. He loved his walks and got me out even on days when it was the last thing I wanted or thought I had time to do. He passed away from heart failure in September this year.
I am walking this walk in honor of him. He was loving and loyal. He taught me that I need to prioritize my Health. I have battled high blood pressure since my early twenties. I cannot be there for family and friends if I do not keep myself moving and eating right.
I have so many family and friends who have had heart problems, heart attacks, and strokes. This research is important to continue to provide life saving treatments and information to everyone.
