9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside the hospital die. In most of those cases, bystander CPR was not performed. But we can change this. ​

 

Cardiac arrests happen at work, in homes, on athletic fields and in neighborhoods everywhere, and the readiness of our community can be the difference between life and death. ​

 

Last year, Allison lost her brother to a sudden and unexpected cardiac arrest. Chris Stumpo was a brother, a son, an uncle, and a friend. He was someone who you could call on any time for any thing. He was an avid Flyers fan and could run a Rummy 500 table any day of the week. He is missed each and every day by his family and friends.
