Family is Why! Join me in supporting the American Heart Association!
Heart disease and stroke are prevalent in my family and with many friends. Every year, my walk is dedicated to friends and family dealing with heart disease and stroke. This year, I walk for my mother. Last fall, around the time I was fundraising for this walk, she was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation (AFib), an arrhythmia that causes fatigue, shortness of breath, and increased risk of stroke. This spring, she received a pacemaker and another device which improve her quality of life and lower her risk of stroke. Today, she is back to her normal activities.
Please help me by donating today. More than three quarters of the funds raised by events like this go toward research, training, and education.
I look forward to walking with my friends and fraternity brothers for this important cause. Together, we can make healthier, longer lives possible for everyone.
Thank you for your support!
