This year I will be participating in the American heart association, heart walk in honor of my best friend Sarah Moose's dad, Phillip Chastain, who passed away unexpectedly from a cardiac event 2023. I will be walking with many of my colleagues from the Mass General Brigham Heart and Vascuar Institute. Every day we collaborate in a mission to raise awareness and provide both life-saving and preventative cardiac care to those in the communities around us.
If you are able, please donate in memory of Phil, using the link below or even better sign up to join the thousands of us walking on October 18 in Boston.
In loving memory of of Phillip, a loving, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend to so many. A member of the transportation services whose decades of dedication contributed to the USA industry .Forever in our heart and forever on the road .
9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside the hospital die. In most of those cases, bystander CPR was not performed. But we can change this.
Cardiac arrests happen at work, in homes, on athletic fields and in neighborhoods everywhere, and the readiness of our community can be the difference between life and death.
It's time to unite, take action, and save lives. Every dollar donated, means more people trained in lifesaving CPR, more research and more lifesaving moments for everyone. Together, we can turn bystanders into lifesavers.
I Walk to Save Lives. Help me reach my goal today.
