On September 28, 2025, the Seshadri Lab will join the Lehigh Valley & Berks Heart Walk to support the AHA. Our mission is focused on improving patient outcomes, both through research in the lab and through action in our communities!
For me, this mission is deeply personal. My mom has dedicated over 30 years as a CVICU nurse, caring for patients and families through some of their hardest moments. She has also faced her own heart health challenges, undergoing multiple ablation surgeries for SVT. Thanks to the incredible doctors and advances in cardiovascular care, she continues to inspire me every day. There is no greater joy than honoring her lifelong commitment and contributing to the work she's poured herself into.
Heart disease remains the leading cause of death, affecting millions of families every year. The AHA's efforts in prevention, treatment, and awareness save lives, and I?m grateful to play even a small part in driving change!
