I walk because I’m a heart survivor — proof that resilience is more than a mindset; it’s a muscle you train every day. The Heart Walk is my way of going RX (as prescribed) for life, giving back to the cause that helped give me more reps, more rounds, and more time.
In CrossFit, we talk about “leaving it all on the floor.” For me, every step at the Heart Walk is like another round for time - pushing through, breathing hard, and remembering that each heartbeat is a PR worth celebrating.
I walk to honor the fight, inspire others in their WODs of life, and help fund the research that keeps more people in the game. My heart’s been tested, but I’m still here, still moving, still chasing the next rep.
