Unfortunately my family is very familiar with Heart Disease and Stroke.
I walk in Memory of my Mother (Heart Disease), Grandfather (Stroke), my Sister (Hypertension), Father (Heart/Stroke) and Nephew (Heart defect) and Honor of another Sister (Heart defect) and this year- my Brother (Heart Disease and Stroke).
The Heart Association has made great strides in Education, Prevention and Treatment of Heart Disease and Stroke but....
Heart disease is still the no. 1 killer and stroke ranks no. 5 in our nation. You could do something to change that.
