Pretty much everyone has a story about someone in their life who has been impacted by heart disease. For me, my father passed away from cardiac amyloidosis in January 2022. I miss him every day, but he lived every day to the fullest. I also have several family members and close friends with pace makers and who contend wtih AFib. It would be so wonderful if, one day, these heart issues could be managed without putting foreign objects in our bodies and have to get a "jump start" to get the heart out of AFib.
Which brings me to participating in the American Heart Walk in Washington, DC on November 2, 2024. Please donate to me and my team as we work to raise fund for the American Heart Association.
