I pray that you and your family are safe and healthy. As you know, my sister ~ my best friend ~ passed away in April 2017 on Easter Day from heart failure. I committed myself to try to help other families not go through what Jo went through.
On November 21st I will again join hundreds of people committed to this same cause. I will be participating in the Greater Washington Heart Walk on the National Mall for the 9th time. My participation in the Heart Walk promotes ways to be physically active and make healthier choices. Imagine the impact if we can reduce death and disability from cardiovascular diseases and stroke.
This year I ask that maybe during that weekend you do a bit of extra walking in honor of heart disease prevention. If you are able, I would appreciate any donation as I continue my pledge to heart health research and prevention. Together, we can make healthier and longer lives possible for everyone.
