This year, I'm walking with my sisters of the Westchester Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. in the American Heart Association Walk on September 27th.
I've set a goal to raise $550 in memory of my dear friend Sumone Taylor, who would have turned 55 this November, but passed away 10 years ago from a heart attack. Sadly, heart disease and stroke have touched too many of my loved ones-even this year, I've seen four friends impacted, two of them fatally.
Please help me honor their memory and fight back against heart disease.
