9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside the hospital die. In most of those cases, bystander CPR was not performed. But we can change this.
I Walk in honor of my sweet Mother Joyce & to Save the Lives of others. Let me tell you my story, my love for Dr. Sarter for saving her life, & the whole dynamic team at Cardiology Phyisicans I am blessed to be a part of!
In 2002 my mother/best friend went into cardiac arrest. She was given NO CHANCE OF SURVIVAL. I was devistated! I am an only child! We were just lucky Dr. Sarter was on call. This was the best thing that could have happened. He placed a Defibrilator in her, and by doing so, I was able to spend another 21 YEARS with the coolest, goofiest, most loving, caring Mommy (as I called her) anyone could ever ask for. She passed in 2023, and I could not be any more grateful to Dr. Sarter and the team at Cardiology Physicians for the "borrowed time" that was given.
