We walk every year in honor of my son, Ja’Dore, who was diagnosed with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS) before he was born. From that day forward, his journey has been one of strength, courage, and resilience. Ja’Dore has faced surgeries, long hospital stays, and daily challenges with a brave heart and a fighting spirit.

The American Heart Association helps families like ours by funding life-saving research, raising awareness for congenital heart defects, and supporting vital programs for children with heart conditions.
