As many of you know, this cause is very personal to me--my father, sister, brother and, most recently, my mother died from heart-related illness. My husband died from heart disease in September 2024, something that I am still struggling to deal with.
In addition to my immediate family many friends and relatives has died due to heart-related illness. I suffer from Afib, and do not want to be yet another statistic. I walk because I know that with every step, I am saving lives.
Unfortunately, we're all tied to heart disease and stroke in some way. We have to change that. Will you help me?
