I lost my beautiful soul, my southern belle, on Sunday, June 1st. My butterball, my seester, my Curu. Things have not been the same; we are living one day at a time and I miss her immensely.
As reality continues to settle I thought to myself, I want to do something to honor Curu. I am always running charities sharing awareness just because, but this time it hits me differently. It's taken from me a piece of my heart.
As I begin doing some research, I just learned that a stroke is the third leading cause of death for women. So if you're feeling nauseous-vomiting, shortness of breath, tired, etc... don't confuse it with your everyday activities, just take a moment to step back and analyze yourself. It's OKAY to take a moment and reassess your symptoms.
On Sunday, September 28th; I will take the walk in Jones Beach for the American Heart Association to honor my seester. I don't know if this will be an annual thing for me, but its something that my heart is telling me to do.
Help me with this journey and please donate to:
