It?s personal for me. I will never forget the look on my husband?s face when he saw my Echocardiogram pictures for the first time.  Surely I don?t have any heart problems? Talk about denial. After working as a Registered Cardiovascular Technologist for most of my adult life, I never thought it could happen to me?! The reason for my sudden onset of shortness of breath was Congestive Heart Failure and Cardiomyopathy. Thanks to my awesome Heart Failure team, I am a survivor and not a victim! I get to enjoy my life with my husband and family! The fight against heart disease and stroke is far from over.
