I am not just a Nurse Practitioner with specialized Cardiology experience, but I am a congenital heart disease survivor! Having Open Heart Surgery in 2001 at age 15, I was set on a path of discovery that led to my passion for Critical Care. After surgery those many years ago- I have appeared on Network News, Newspaper Articles, and Presented for world renound medical centers about the need for Cardiology screenings and cardiac care. Additonally, I have given awards to Cardiac Surgeons during major fundraising events, and trained under some of the most recognized Physicians in the United States.
9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside the hospital die. In most of those cases, bystander CPR was not performed. But we can change this. â??
Cardiac arrests happen at work, in homes, on athletic fields and in neighborhoods everywhere, and the readiness of our community can be the difference between life and death. â??
It's time to unite, take action, and save lives. Every dollar donated, means more people trained in lifesaving CPR, more research and more lifesaving moments for everyone. Together, we can turn bystanders into lifesavers.â??
I Walk to Save Lives. Help me reach my goal today.â??
