My family and I are taking part in the AHA Heart Walk in honor of my grandpa. He had a quintuple bypass over 20 years ago, and because of advances in heart care and the support he received from his cardiology team and the AHA, we were able to have so many more years with him. He showed love in so many small but meaningful ways - making sure you never left hungry, and always laughing with you just to share a moment together.
