2026 Capital Region Heart Walk & Run
Christopher's Warriors
Christoher was born with a congenital heart disease called Tetralogy of Fallot. TOF is made up of 4 heart defects. At 6 weeks old Christopher had his first open heart surgery following a 5 week PICU stay. He then continued to grow and get stronger for his 2nd open heart surgery which would be a full repair of his heart. That day came when he was a little over 8 months old. Christopher had his full repair of his heart and was home 8 days later like a superhero. The obstacles Christopher has overcome the last 5 years are extraordinary. From weekly cardiology appointments to now yearly visits. He continues to show us all how strong and courageous he truly is. Christopher is a bright and fun Kindergartener who loves to play baseball, hockey, ride his bike and play with all his friends.
Thank you to all our family and friends for your continued support over the last 5 years. It takes a village and Christopher is extremely lucky to have the best village around! Join us on Sunday, June 7th to walk in support of Christopher!
We walk to support and honor all that are affected by a heart disease. We thank you for your donation as it will fund groundbreaking research that literally keeps hearts beating and helps people like Christopher to have longer, healthier lives.
