My grandson Max was born last May with a congenital heart defect and underwent open-heart surgery at just 8 weeks old. He spent more than 70 days at Connecticut Children’s Hospital before finally coming home, and he continues to grow stronger every day!

Congenital heart defects affect 1 in 100 children. Team Uus will be walking to support Max and all the other children who are currently fighting these challenges or have overcome them.
