I live each day with gratitude and being mindful of my second chance at life. I spend time telling anyone who will listen, the things I have learned on this journey.

I am in the process of writing two series of books about this entire experience. The first set is Wisdom from Beyond, a retelling of my NDE. The companion book, Reflections on Wisdom from Beyond, is my thoughts on how the NDE changed my life and inspired me in my long stroke recovery. This set should be available by June next year.

The second set if books is a trilogy called My Stroke of Grace; Why I was Left With a Voice. The target reader for this set are medical care providers, stroked people and their caregivers, and people who live with a risk of stroke. Book 1 tells my first two years of recovery. Book two is years 3 to 7, and book 3 is years 8 to 14. That will end the series on what happened to me during my recover. This set will be out late 2026 or early 2027.
