I'm walking in the Central MA Heart Walk because heart health isn't just something I care about-it's something that directly impacts my future.
I was born with a bicuspid aortic valve, a condition that means I will need an aortic valve replacement in my lifetime. Thanks to ongoing research and incredible advances in medical technology, that future looks brighter and less uncertain than it once did. Procedures are becoming less invasive, recovery is improving, and outcomes continue to get better because of the work funded by organizations like the American Heart Association.
Supporting the Heart Walk means supporting the research that makes those advancements possible-not just for me, but for so many others living with heart conditions. Every step taken and every dollar raised helps push innovation forward, giving people like me more options, more time, and more hope.
Thank you for being part of that mission with me.
