In July 2023, my papaw suffered an aortic aneurysm, aortic dissection, and multiple strokes. Because of the quick response of his coworkers, the dynamic surgical team and nurses, and through the prayer and support of friends and family, he survived what very few do. Our family is walking to celebrate his recovery and support on-going research and training. 

 

DID YOU KNOW 9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside the hospital die. In most of those cases, bystander CPR was not performed. But we can change this. It's time to unite, take action, and save lives. Every walker who joins, every dollar donated, means more people trained in lifesaving CPR, more research and more lifesaving moments for everyone.
