Executives with Heart unites top local leaders around one goal: ensuring one person in every household is ready to save a life with CPR. While 61% of people are unsure of what to do in a cardiac emergency, these leaders are working to change that. They’re leading by example through donating, rallying their networks to do the same, and spreading lifesaving CPR education, all leading up to a celebration at the Heart Walk.
I’m walking in memory of John T. Maciaszek, my aunt’s father and my "bonus grandpa".
John lived 83 wonderful years guided by hard work, integrity, and genuine care for others. He served as a U.S. Army Major, built a distinguished career in technology, and was always generous with his time and love for the people around him.
In his final weeks, John suffered multiple cardiovascular events. I walk in his honor and for every family touched by heart disease.
We miss you, John.
