2026 Northeast PA Heart Walk
Team Greghan
When Greg found out he needed heart surgery, everything changed.
What could have been a devastating diagnosis became something very different because of the research, innovation, and care made possible through organizations like the American Heart Association.
Greg underwent a Ross procedure, a complex surgery most often performed in children. His surgeon, David Adams at Mount Sinai, used advanced techniques and decades of research to make it possible for Greg to not just survive, but to truly live well after surgery.
That kind of outcome does not happen by chance. It happens because people invest in research. It happens because people show up. It happens because people care enough to act.
That is why we are walking.
We are walking for Greg.
We are walking for families who are in the middle of their hardest moment.
We are walking because every step forward in research gives someone more time, more milestones, more life.
If you have ever wondered whether your support makes a difference, it does.
