Heart disease has deeply affected my family. My mother suffered a series of heart attacks that may have contributed to the dementia that followed and ultimately led to her passing.

I'm participating in the Maine Heart Walk with the L.L.Bean OFC team to honor her memory and to support the lifesaving research, education, and advocacy work of the American Heart Association.
