Bellamy's tribe
My son Bellamy had to have open heart surgery at only 3 months old. It was a long road from pregnancy to surgery to recovery. He had two hospital stays, his first one being in the NICU for 44 long days, the second being in the PICU, recovering from open heart surgery. I never imagined I would have to watch my son go through that, nor how often families are affected by Congenital Heart Defect. My goal is education more people in my community about CHD, and help raise awareness/funds that are needed for life saving research and care.
