On April 25th, I will be participating in the Heart Walk for the American Heart Association at Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, NY.

This cause is especially meaningful to me..

In 1992 my Yiayia's husband, my Papou, passed away from a heart attack. Although I never had the opportunity to meet him...My Yiayia often shared stories about their life together...coming to America from Greece, how much he loved his family, always happy to help others in the community, and providing full tummys at his luncheonette "Texas Lunch" in Poughkeepsie, NY.
