I am walking  in the Southern New England Heart Walk to raise money for the American Heart Association in honor of my Father. My father suffered from a heart attack which resulted in a quadruple bypass surgery at age 52, in April of 2020 at the age of 62, he passed away due to complications with Covid. After his heart attack at 52, he had multiple strokes and more cardiac events that negatively impacted his overall health. I do not know if he would have survived Covid if he did not have as many comorbidities, however, I strongly believe he would have had more of a fighting chance. This story is not unique to me and my family, countless others are negatively impacted by cardiovascular health issues daily, please consider donating to my walk to support American Heart Association fights against heart disease and stroke!
