I proudly support and participate in the American Heart Association in honor of my grandma and my aunt, both of whom battled heart disease and heart failure. My aunt played a meaningful role in this organization, leading our family team in the Heart Walk for many years in Utica, NY—a legacy that continues to inspire me.
This cause is especially close to my heart now, as several friends and family members I love dearly have suffered heart attacks this past year. Watching people so important to me face these challenges has been a powerful reminder of how deeply heart disease touches our lives and how urgent this fight truly is.
I walk because I believe every single step makes a difference. Together, alongside countless Heart Walk Heroes across the nation, we can create a powerful and lasting impact in the fight against heart disease and stroke.
