I participate in the Heart Walk because heart disease isn't just something I work on professionally; it has impacted my family personally. I lost my dad to heart disease, and that experience shaped how I view prevention, access to care, research, and support for patients and families. As someone who leads cardiovascular services, I see the challenges people face every day. Supporting the Heart Walk is one way I honor my dad, give back to my community, and help advance a future with better outcomes for others.
