I am walking for my children and grandchildren, in hopes to save them from heart disease.

We have lived the heart disease reality in our lives since 1979 when my Dad first had his massive coronary, things progressed, and for more than the last 20 years he has had Congestive Heart Failure.

If it were not for the advances of the American Heart Association, my Dad would not have been with us for 88 years.
