I've heard far too many stories of people who suffer cardiac arrest outside the hospital and never make it home. I know this reality personally - I've lost family members to cardiac arrests, and their memories fuel my passion for change. That's why I'm walking. I walk for the loved ones I've lost, for those I know who have survived, for those who I've never met, and for every life cut short too soon. Change doesn't happen all at once - it starts with small, intentional steps. And each of us has the power to take one.
I encourage everyone to invest in their daily health and wellness, and to get CPR trained so you're never a bystander who can't help. Every dollar donated supports critical research, expands CPR training, and brings us closer to saving more lives.
Stand with me and the Employee/Student Health Heart Stroll team as we make a difference one stride at a time. Help us reach our goal today.
